Scientia Prof. Chun-Hui Wang

Chun-Hui Wang is a Scientia Professor at the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at UNSW Sydney. His research focuses on functionalizing and modelling advanced composites for applications in high-performance structures, wearable sensors and energy storage devices. His work has been successfully translated into engineering and health technologies, including criteria for fatigue design, imaging techniques for structural damage assessment and nano-engineered toughening strategies for composites operating in extreme thermal environments. He is a Fellow of the Australia Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering (FTSE), in recognition of his sustained contributions and impact in engineering research and innovation.
