Prof. Lei Jiang

Professor Lei Jiang is Professor at the Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research, University of Science and Technology of China. He is an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a foreign member of the US National Academy of Engineering and the Australian Academy of Science. He received his PhD from the University of Tokyo and worked with Prof. Akira Fujishima in Japan. His research focuses on bioinspired superwetting interfacial nanomaterials and ultralow-energy bionic processes for biosynthesis, energy conversion and information transmission. He is widely recognised as a leading materials scientist in China.
