Professor Bronwyn Fox AO is Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research and Enterprise at UNSW Sydney. She is an internationally recognised expert in carbon fibre and composite materials, with major contributions to advanced composites, graphene-enabled materials and manufacturing innovation. She was previously Chief Scientist at CSIRO and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research and Enterprise at Swinburne University, where she founded the Manufacturing Futures Research Institute. She also established Deakin University’s Carbon Nexus facility. Professor Fox is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, Engineers Australia and the Royal Australian Chemical Institute. Her leadership spans research translation, national manufacturing capability and strategic science and technology policy.
