Professor Martina Stenzel is a Scientia Professor and ARC Laureate Fellow in the School of Chemistry at UNSW Sydney. She is internationally recognised for pioneering work in polymer chemistry, complex polymer architectures, glycopolymers and functional polymer nanoparticles. Her research advances polymeric nanomaterials and bio-inspired polymer nanocomposites for drug delivery, including systems for metal-based and non-metal anticancer drugs. A key feature of her work is understanding how nanoparticles interact with cells, cancer spheroids and biological matrices, linking polymer design with performance. She is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science and a leading figure in polymer nanomedicine and biomaterials.
